Great value with the Family Pass

I was looking for a good deal for the family and ended up getting the Family Pass for Legoland Discovery Centre Melbourne. It worked out much cheaper than buying individual tickets at the gate, which was exactly what I wanted. We went during the school holidays, so it was a bit busy, but the kids had a blast. The LEGO Creative Workshop was a hit, and it felt like we got a lot for our money. Booking online was straightforward too, which saved some hassle when we got there.

Absolutely loved the day!

I had such an amazing time at Legoland Discovery Centre Melbourne! The 4D Cinema Experience was so much fun, and MINILAND Melbourne was incredible, seeing all those tiny details. I already told my sister she needs to take her kids. I definitely plan on getting an Annual Pass next time so I can visit more often! It was a brilliant day out.

Good afternoon with the kids

We went to Legoland Discovery Centre Melbourne last weekend and had a pretty good time. The kids really liked the Kingdom Quest Ride and spent ages at the LEGO Racers Build and Test area. It was easy enough to get in after booking online. The cafe was a bit pricey for snacks but that's kinda expected. Overall, a solid day out with the family.

Is it worth getting the VR experience add-on? Or is the regular stuff enough?

S Susan T. 1 week ago
It's pretty cool for a one-off, but if you're trying to save money, the main attractions are plenty fun.

My kids loved it, but it's an extra cost. If you've never done VR before, it's a neat experience.

Anyone know if those Merlin Annual Pass discounts apply to the shop inside? Like, if I wanna buy a Lego set?

A Ashley Lee 4 weeks ago
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Merlin Pass holders get a discount at the retail store. It's usually like 10% or something similar.

Are adults allowed in without kids? My partner and I are huge Lego fans and just want to check it out.

J Jason W. 3 weeks ago
Nah, usually you need a kid with you. They have special Adult Nights sometimes though, keep an eye out for those.

I think their general policy is kids required for adults, but yeah, the adult-only nights are a thing. Check their calendar.

Hey, thinking of taking the kids to Legoland Discovery Centre next month. Do I actually need to pre-book tickets or can I just rock up on the day?

H Hannah P. 1 week ago
Definitely book ahead, especially if it's school holidays or a weekend. They have time slots and it can sell out.

Yeah, I tried just showing up once and had to wait ages for the next available slot. Save yourself the hassle, book online.

How long do people usually spend there? Trying to figure out if it's a half-day or whole-day thing.

B Ben 1 month ago
We usually spend about 3-4 hours. You can easily do everything in that time without rushing.

Depends on the kids! Mine could spend all day building stuff. If you do everything, rides, 4D movie, building, you're looking at 4+ hours easily.
